Reorder Icons in Google Waffle

I love Chrome bookmarks. I might even have an addiction to keeping them, but sometimes there is no need to create my own saved places if they already exist. Google helps by creating built-in bookmarks tucked away in the “waffle” (that little 9 grid thing in your browser). In the past these were already assigned spots that were not in any way customizable. Google now allows you to customize the waffle and put your icons in whatever order works best for you. You can add, delete, and reorder to your heart's content. Follow the steps below to start organizing your waffle to work for you!

Reorder Icons in the Google Waffle

  1. Log into your Google account.
  2. Go to www.google.com or any core Google page (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Hangouts, Photos, Google+). Side note, if you are ever looking for the Google Classroom icon you will only find it in these core apps.
  3. Click on the waffle in the top right corner.
  4. Grab an icon and drag it to where you want it to live.
  5. Done!

Give it a try and re-organize your waffle!
